Planting trees gets into all kinds of issues of watering, pruning, raking, and pulling leaves out of storm drains. There are safety issues with trees sometimes, too, because they can block a driver’s line of sight, he said. The landscaping along Highway 238, said Vial, is all being done by the city of Medford.
