Neighborhood shooter sought in Medford Police are asking citizens to help identify the persons who terrorized an east Medford neighborhood with a gun early Sunday morning. Around 4:45 a.m., residents in the Eagle Trace subdivision area reported hearing gun shots, according to Lt. Mike Moran. Using a .22-caliber rifle, the suspects shot out a house window and a streetlight and damaged a sign, he said. It is believed at least two persons were involved because witnesses told police they saw shots coming from the passenger side of a vehicle, said Moran. Witnesses described seeing a small, dark-colored pickup with a canopy or a two-toned Jeep Cherokee in the area at the time.
