Man charged in bizarre sex contest A Medford man�s "contests" came to an end Monday when Medford police charged him with two counts of using a child in display of sexually explicit conduct. Curtis Fleming, 26, has a reputation for asking young women to exchange blouses or pants in front of him, according to Medford police Sgt. Roy Skinner. Fleming tells the women it is part of a contest and asks them to do it as quickly as they can, said Skinner. Police were aware of Fleming�s actions but were unable to charge him with anything since his victims were adults, said Skinner. However, they were able to lodge him in the Jackson County Jail on a violation of probation on three convictions on harrassment charges in 1998. While on a day-long furlough from jail on Monday, an officer caught Fleming under a bridge apparently talking two 13-year-old girls into participating in his contest, according to Skinner. He was lodged without bail on numerous charges. "When he goes right out on the same day and goes back to doing this immediately, obviously we think he�s a threat to the community," said Skinner.
