The Knicks had their eight-game winning streak snapped when a video replay of Stoudemire's shot showed the ball was clearly still in his hands as time expired. Pierce scored 32 points for the Celtics, who trailed most of the fourth quarter before running their record to 20-4, best in the Eastern Conference. Stoudemire had 39 points, extending his franchise-record streak to nine straight 30-point games. But the Knicks were denied the victory over a top team they desperately craved to punctuate their return to relevance. They get another chance Friday, when LeBron James and the Miami Heat come to Madison Square Garden. Ray Allen scored 26 points and Kevin Garnett had 20 points and 13 rebounds for the Celtics. Raymond Felton had 26 points and 14 assists for the Knicks, who lost for the second time in 15 games. Lakers 109, Pacers 94 At Indianapolis, Kobe Bryant scored 25 of his 31 points in the second half to help Los Angeles beat Indiana. Pau Gasol scored 28 points and Lamar Odom had 13 points and 17 rebounds for the Lakers, who never trailed. The Lakers shot 51 percent against the Pacers, who entered with the NBA's No. 2 field-goal percentage defense. Los Angeles outrebounded Indiana 51-29 to win for the sixth time in seven games. Bulls 110, Raptors 93 At Toronto, Carlos Boozer had a season-high 34 points and 12 rebounds, and Chicago won its seventh straight game by beating Toronto. Luol Deng added 19 points, Joakim Noah had 11 points and 11 rebounds and Derrick Rose dished out 11 assists for the Bulls, who never trailed and led by as many as 29. Heat 101, Cavaliers 95 At Miami, Dwyane Wade scored 17 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter, LeBron James added 21 points and a season-high 13 rebounds, and Miami held off Cleveland for its 10th straight victory. Chris Bosh scored 16 points for Miami, 2-0 against James' former team. Mario Chalmers had 14 and James Jones added 11 for the Heat. 76ers 105, Clippers 91 At Philadelphia, Jrue Holiday scored 24 points and Andre Iguodala had eight of his 20 points in Philadelphia's dominating third quarter to lead the surging 76ers over the road-weary Los Angeles Clippers. Spencer Hawes had 16 points and 12 rebounds, and Elton Brand added 15 points for the Sixers, who have won three straight and seven of nine. Blake Griffin had 20 points and 18 rebounds, matching his career high, to pace the Clippers, who have dropped all 11 of their road games this season. Counting last season, Los Angeles has lost 15 straight on the road and hasn't won away from home since defeating Houston on March 25 last season. Grizzlies 113, Bobcats 80 At Memphis, Tenn., O.J. Mayo scored 24 points, Rudy Gay had 23 and Memphis jumped to an early lead and routed Charlotte. Zach Randolph had 19 points and nine rebounds and Darrell Arthur finished with 10 points to help the Grizzlies run their season-best winning streak to four games. Stephen Jackson led the Bobcats with 16 points. Hornets 94, Kings 91 At New Orleans, Chris Paul had 22 points and 11 assists, and New Orleans completed a franchise-record 23-point comeback to beat Sacramento. Marcus Thornton scored a season-high 19 points, including 13 during a crucial 6-minute span in the third quarter when the Hornets climbed back into the game. Thunder 117, Rockets 105 At Oklahoma City, Kevin Durant scored 32 points, Thabo Sefolosha added a season-high 15 points and nine rebounds and Oklahoma City beat Houston for its fourth straight win. Durant was on the bench with four fouls late in the third quarter when the Thunder scored eight straight points to take control of the game. James Harden tacked on a 3-pointer to open the fourth and push Oklahoma City's lead to 90-76, and the Rockets were never closer than a dozen points after that. Spurs 92, Bucks 90 At San Antonio, Manu Ginobili hit a fallaway jumper as time expired, lifting San Antonio over Milwaukee. Ginobili scored the last of his 26 points on a 17-footer from the left elbow over the outstretched arm of Luc Mbah a Moute, who missed a shot that would have given the Bucks the lead seconds earlier. Suns 128, Timberwolves 122 At Phoenix, Channing Frye hit seven of Phoenix's 15 3-pointers, Steve Nash had 19 assists and the Suns outlasted Minnesota.
