I heard the state has produced some scenic videos that are pretty awesome, but I haven't been able to find them. Can you point me in the right direction? — Elizabeth, Medford Yes, we can, Elizabeth. After a bit of sleuthing, we think we found the videos you're referring to, or at least videos that fit the bill. And they are, of course, available on YouTube. But first, before we give up the details, let us thank you for the question because it sent us on a search that turned up what are indeed some pretty awesome videos. They kind of make you puff out your chest to be an Oregonian. To see these, go to www.youtube.com and type in the titles. Here are a few of our favorites: "Precious Water: Oregon Rivers and Streams" — Wow, shots from all over the state of Oregon's incredible waterways and the equally incredible scenery surrounding them. "Amazing Oregon." — Wow on steroids, this time-lapse video by Uncage the Soul is stunningly beautiful, much of it featuring Oregon night skies as a backdrop. It's about five minutes long, but give yourself 15 minutes because you will want to watch it at least three times. "The 7 Wonders of Oregon" — Short and sweet, this minute-long video produced by Travel Oregon highlights the state's top scenic wonders, including Crater Lake. "Grant's Getaways: 7 Wonders of Oregon" — You may feel like the narrator is about to sell you a used car, but some pretty cool scenic shots, much of it from the Smith Rocks area in Central Oregon.
