Perone has big day during Cancer Society tournament Aug 29, 2000 12:00 AM A A Medford's Dan Perone picked up two titles Saturday in the American Cancer Society Tennis Tournament at Bear Creek Park. Perone downed Bob Bryant in the Men's A division on an injury default and teamed up with Bryant to take the A Doubles championship, 6-1, 4-6, 6-0, over Drew Brown and Steve Schnugg. The three-day tournament, running Aug. 26-26, had 75 competitors participate.
