Jose Louis Garcia Jul 22, 2016 12:00 AM A A March 19, 1929 - July 10, 2016 Jose Louis Garcia, 87, passed away into heaven July 10, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his family. Our dad came to the Rogue Valley in 1968 with his wife and nine children. He was a hard worker and orchard foreman for several pear companies in the Valley. He became a successful mechanic providing for his wife and children, until his retirement. He was also involved in the early beginnings of Migrant Workers opportunities. In his retirement, he enjoyed the company of his children, his 22 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Severina Ruiz Garcia; his daughter, Susie Garcia; and his grandson, Nathan Cadwallader. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Conger Morris Chapel, 800 South Front St. Central Point, Ore. A burial service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial at a later date. Jose Louis Garcia
