Lingren, 79, passed away peacefully June 29, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 5, 1936 in Medford, Ore. to Ernest and Maxine Lingren. Don graduated from Rogue River High School in 1954. He was the owner of EZ Homes, a mobile home sales business and was always the ultimate salesman. He was an avid hunter and especially loved his annual hunting trips in Wyoming. He ran a boxing club for many years and was like a second father to many of the kids he coached there. Don is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pauline (Wesley); their children, Byron (Julie) of Shady Cove, Ore., Natalie (Casey) of Medford, Ore., and Steven (Central Point, Ore.); daughter-in-law, Kristy of Klamath Falls, Ore, and former-daughter-in-law, Donna Meyers; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Ernie of Sequim, Wash., Marshall of Cody, Wyoming, Colleda of Post Falls, Idaho; and many other loving nieces, nephews, and relatives. He was preceded in death by his son, Gregory who passed away due to ALS in 2001. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. July 30, 2016 at First Christian Church, 1900 Crater Lake Ave. Medford, Ore. A potluck gathering in Don's memory will follow the church services.
