A second Medford Chick-fil-A is on the drawing board By Mail Tribune staff Updated: Nov 04, 2022 03:53 PM A A Jamie Lusch / Mail TribuneCars line up at Chick-fil-A in Medford on Tuesday. Medford soon could have another Chick-fil-A, the fast-food chain known for its chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. The city of Medford confirmed Friday that the company had submitted site plans for a possible new location on the corner of Garfield Street and Highway 99. A Chick-fil-A spokesperson on Friday declined to officially announce a new establishment was coming. “We would very much like to have more restaurants in the Medford area, but we have no new locations to confirm at this time,” wrote Brownlee Hopkins in an email to the Mail Tribune. Chick-fil-A’s only Medford location so far is at 10 Rossanley Drive, within the Northgate Marketplace. Kristina Johnsen, communications and marketing manager for the city of Medford, who shared with the Mail Tribune Chick-fil-A’s site plans, wrote in an email that the concept will go to the Medford Site Plan and Architectural Commission for a hearing in early 2023.
