Matthew Richard Tracy, Sr., 63, of the 400 block of South Grape Street faces charges of first-degree unlawful sexual penetration and first-degree sexual abuse of a girl under age 12. The abuse allegedly occurred between Jan. 1 and May 24. Tracy also faces a charge of private indecency after allegedly exposing himself between Jan. 1 and May 24 to another female, whose age was not indicated in Jackson County Circuit Court documents. Tracy was arrested, then lodged in the Jackson County Jail on June 2, where he remains with his bail set at $500,000. He was previously convicted of a sex crime against a relative and sexual assault in 1985 in Omaha, Nebraska, according to court documents. In 1996, Tracy was convicted of public indecency in Josephine County, court records show. Tracy entered not guilty pleas to the new charges in Jackson County Circuit Court on Wednesday. He has a pre-trial conference hearing scheduled for June 27 in court.
