Adopt a Pet Jul 17, 2016 12:00 AM A A AGE: Buddy is a black and white, 5-year-old Dalmatian and pit bull mix. PERSONALITY: A little bit shy, a little bit silly and a whole lot of cute. If you are polite and respectful, his heart will be yours in no time. Buddy knows his basic commands and is eager to please. HIGHLIGHTS: Buddy is outgoing and friendly, but can be a bit “bossy” with other dogs, so if you have a dog already, a meet ‘n greet at the shelter is a must. He is a diamond in the rough, and with some training will become a good companion. AVAILABLE: At the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S. Pacific Hwy., between Talent and Phoenix, open 7 days a week. COST: Buddy’s adoption fee is $95, and includes a free, one-hour, in-home training and a wellness visit at a local veterinarian office.
