No new COVID-19 cases reported Sunday for Jackson County By Local report May 10, 2020 09:22 PM A A Jackson County Public Health reported no new cases of COVID-19 for the 16th consecutive day Sunday as the total number of active cases held firm at nine, with 40 patients recovered. The county hasn’t had a reported case since April 24, and has yet to experience its first COVID-19-related fatality. The Oregon Health Authority on Sunday reported 60 new confirmed cases and eight new presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state’s total to 3,228. No deaths related to COVID-19 were reported as the state’s death toll stayed at 127. As of Sunday morning, 75,450 Oregonians have been tested for COVID-19. Of those who tested positive, 670 were hospitalized. Josephine County announced its first positive COVID-19 case Friday.{ }
