Photo by Drew Fleming Remembering the struggle A candlelight vigil Sunday evening in Medford's Alba Park highlighted Mental Illness Awareness Week in Southern Oregon. More than 50 people lit candles in remembrance of family members and friends who are struggling with mental illness or brain disorders. Among them were, from left, Johnnetta Esselstrom of Talent, Lynda Haghan of Medford, and Pat Eder of Medford.
