Medford police on Monday arrested Vincent on a charge of possession of amphetamine and warrants charging him with failing to appear on a previous drug charge and for violating his probation from past convictions for drug possession and identity theft. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held without bail Monday. Assault — Juan Carlos Coles-Mendoza, 27, of the 1000 block of South Grape Street, Medford. Medford police on Monday arrested Coles- Mendoza on a charge of felony fourth-degree assault. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday without bail pending a review of his immigration status. Drugs — Jimmy Lee Dwight Swift, 27, of the 4200 block of Tioga Way, Central Point. Oregon State Police troopers on Monday arrested Swift on charges of possession of amphetamines, possession of contraband and providing false information to police, as well as on a Klamath County warrant. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday night in lieu of $55,000 bail. Miscellaneous Jail releases — A total of 111 inmates were released last week from the Jackson County Jail to meet its court-ordered cap of no more than 190 inmates. Of those, 25 were released before their scheduled court appearances, six were granted early release from a sentence and 80 were released for miscellaneous reasons.
