Ice Bucket Challenge Co-Founder Dies By Robert Hastings Nov 23, 2020 11:34 AM A A Pat Quinn, the co-founder of the viral ice bucket fundraiser, has died. Pat suffered from ALS and unfortunately lost his ability to speak in 2018, but it didn't stop him from reaching out to his community and doing everything he could to help raise awareness and funds to battle the condition. His personal battle with the disease inspired a blaze of hope as communities across the nation rose to his shining example. Pat Quinn Co-Founded the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS research.
