Medford police arrested Kimmell Monday on a charge of third-degree assault. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on bail of $25,000 and later released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Brian Dean McFarlin, 25, of the 600 block of East Main Street, Medford. Medford police arrested McFarlin Monday on charges of possessing amphetamine and third-degree assault, as well as on an outstanding warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on bail of $38,000 and later released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Holly Marie Allison, 50, of the 9000 block of Blackwell Road, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Allison Monday on a warrant charging her with possessing amphetamine. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on bail of $10,000. Crime reports Burglary — 1800 block of Foots Creek Road near Gold Hill. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies took a report Monday of a residential burglary. The victim reported miscellaneous property valued at $1,000 was taken from the home. Burglary — 10600 block of Hannon Road near Eagle Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies took a report Monday of a residential burglary. The victim reported the loss of property valued at $3,000. Burglary — 100 block of Northridge Terrace near Phoenix. The victim told Jackson County sheriff’s deputies that property valued at $2,500 had been taken from a storage shed. Miscellaneous Jail releases — The Jackson County Jail released 116 inmates during the past week to meet the federally-imposed cap of 190 inmates. Of those, 33 were released on their own recognizance; six were given early release; and 77 were released for miscellaneous reasons.
