Medford police arrested Pearson late Thursday on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail but released less than an hour later on account of overcrowding. Assault — Crystal Marlene Richardson, 38, of the 100 block of Napa Street, Eagle Point. Eagle Point police arrested Richardson late Thursday on charges of fourth-degree felony assault and interrupting a 9-1-1 call. She was lodged in jail but released Friday afternoon on account of overcrowding. Drugs — Philip Lee Begley, 21, of the 400 block of Ash Street, Central Point. Medford police arrested Begley early Friday on charges of possession of methamphetamine and third- degree theft. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Friday in lieu of $5,000 bail. Drugs — Tahra Amber Urich, 19, no permanent address. Medford police arrested Urich Friday on charges of possession of methamphetamine and violating probation conditions. She was lodged in jail without bail. Assault — Luis Angel Rosado, 22, of the 200 block of South Columbus Avenue, Medford. Rosado appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Friday on an indictment charging him with fourth-degree felony assault, fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was booked in jail and released. Burglary — Saipani Eli Jr., 37, of the 100 block of Kenwood Avenue, Medford. Eli appeared in Circuit Court Friday on an indictment charging him with second-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in jail and released. Advertisement Theft — Elizabeth Hope Holland, 52, of the 100 block of Lincoln Street, Medford. Holland appeared in Circuit Court Friday on an indictment charging her with first-degree aggravated theft and four counts of first-degree theft. She was booked in jail and released. Crime reports Burglary — 7400 block of Upper Applegate Road, Jacksonville. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies took a report of a burglarized residence. A camera, pea gun, watch and jewelry with a total estimated value of $540 were reported stolen. Burglary — 2600 block of Little Applegate Road, Jacksonville. Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a burglarized residence. Jewelry and guns were reported stolen. No value was listed. Stolen vehicle — 5000 block of South Pacific Highway, Phoenix. Sheriff’s deputies took a report of the theft of an all-terrain vehicle. Fire calls Kitchen fire — 200 block of Washington Street, Medford. Cleaning products on an electric range caught fire Friday when power was restored to a residence that had been cut off for lack of payment. Five engines responded to the 4:39 p.m. blaze, which firefighters reined in within minutes, said Medford Fire Battalion Chief Dan Petersen. The residents were not home at the time of the fire, he added.
