Medford police arrested Hartz late Saturday on two counts of fourth-degree felony assault and charges of fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Sunday in lieu of $30,000 bail. Burglary — James Dennis Eaton, 45, of the 400 block of Stevens Road, Eagle Point. Eagle Point police arrested Eaton late Saturday on charges of first-degree burglary and second- degree theft. He was lodged in jail but released two hours later on bail. Vehicle theft — Dick Allen Hazen, 18, of the 2600 block of Falcon Street, White City. Eagle Point police arrested Hazen early Sunday on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and attempting to elude police in a vehicle and on foot. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Sunday in lieu of $14,000 bail. Drugs — Timothy Lawrence Capps, 36, of the 800 block of Archer Drive, Medford. Medford police arrested Capps Sunday on a charge of possession of amphetamine. He was lodged in jail but released about an hour later because of overcrowding. Assault — Christopher James Raymond, 43, of the 8000 block of 26th Street, White City. Medford police arrested Raymond Sunday on charges of fourth-degree felony assault, fourth- degree assault and harassment. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Sunday in lieu of $12,000 bail. Crime report Stolen vehicle — 500 block of Raven Road, Central Point. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Sunday took a report of the theft of a Mitsubishi pickup truck with Oregon license plate SCW-156.
