Golden, Marsh to hold town hall at SOU By Ashland Tidings staff Mar 10, 2020 03:54 PM A A Oregon Sen. Jeff Golden and Rep. Pam Marsh will be at the Southern Oregon University campus 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, March 13, at Elmo’s Grill to discus higher education funding, housing and food insecurity and the environment. According to the town hall press release, Golden and Marsh want to focus on challenges faced by student communities: “So if you identify as LGBTQ+, a student of color, a disabled student, an international student, an out-of-state student, or a student veteran, we encourage you to attend and bring at least one issue that has impacted you personally.” Food and refreshments will be provided at the town hall, which is free to attend.
