November 08. 2014 2:29PM Rogue Valley panel will discuss food, farming future The Rogue Valley Food System Network will present a panel on “The Future of Food and Farming in the Rogue Valley” from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, at the Medford library, 205 S Central Ave. State Rep. Peter Buckley will provide opening remarks, followed by a panel presentation and discussion, and closing with a facilitated question-and-answer period. Panelists include: Vincent M. Smith, Southern Oregon University; Maud Powell, OSU Extension Small Farms; Elise Higley, Thrive; and Greg Holmes, 1000 Friends of Oregon.
