She was born in Yreka, Calif. December 28, 1929. Bobbie was the daughter of Charles and Nora Bottjer. She graduated from Medford Senior High School in 1948. In 1949 she married Robert Fasel in Reno, Nev. Bob and Bobbie were blessed with four children. Bobbie was deeply devoted to her husband of 65 years, as well as to her children, grandchildren, family and friends. A woman strong in her faith, she was a parishioner of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and took every opportunity to support those in need. She was the epitome of grace, beauty, generosity, and unconditional love. Bobbie touched the lives of countless individuals throughout her life and will remain a woman to emulate. She had a radiance and style like no other. Bobbie loved traveling with Bob, watching her grandchildren play sports, shopping and visiting with her daughters and granddaughters, and enjoying lunch, a latte, or frequent phone conversations with family and friends. Bobbie is survived by her sister, Mary Jo Steele; her daughter, Tricia (David); her sons, Tom, Tim, and Terry (Lisa); nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert (Bob) Fasel, who recently passed in January 2015; her parents, Charles Bottjer and Nora Bottjer; her brother, Dick; and her sister, Pat. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 14, 2015 at the Siskiyou Memorial Park.
