On January 7, 2015 Richard left this world to join God. He was married 52 years to the love of his life Joyce. Together they raised 5 children; Richard, Daniel, Suzanne, Greg, and Maria as well as numerous others who came to know him as Papa. An investment advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors his career spanned 50 years. His passion for those he called his clients was remarkable for they were not just clients but friends. That same passion carried over into his everyday life. He lived by example and all those who knew him were better for it. Richard's philanthropic endeavors quietly changed the lives of many. Richard served our country in the US Army, was active for many years in Rotary, enjoyed traveling the world, and loved to spend time fishing. He is survived by his wife Joyce, 5 children, 13 grandchildren, and brothers Don and Tim. In lieu of flowers and to honor his memory donations can be made to Providence Community Health Foundation - Medford (oregon.providence.org) or Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.org). A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 1:00pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Medford.
