Miller started his financial services career in 1998 as a Wells Fargo teller. He worked as a personal banker, assistant store manager and mortgage consultant before leaving the company in 2003. Miller then worked at KeyBank, Seattle Credit Union, Western Mutual Mortgage and Mortgage Investment Lending Associates before returning to Wells Fargo. He is presently pursuing a degree in business and journalism from Southern Oregon University. Miller's office is at 1128 S. Riverside Drive in Medford and can be reached at 776-5620. Advertisement Optometrist Steven P. Mullins has joined the staff at The Optical Shoppe in the North Medford Fred Meyer, 2424 Crater Lake Highway. Mullins has practiced in Medford for the past 10 years and was formerly with Champion Optical. He follows optometrists Russell and Jackie Horn. Mullins is a graduate of Southern California College of Optometry and maintained a private practice in Southern California for 12 years before relocating to Medford in 1996. Wiesner earned a bachelor's degree from Southern Oregon University in 2003 and has two years of management experience with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. He can be reached at 608-0447. Best Tel has hired Cheryl Scheufler in its customer-advocate department. Scheufler has more than 16 years of telecommunications experience. She will handle equipment assessments, product training, installations, billing analysis and new-product introductions for small to mid-sized companies. Among the companies Scheufler worked for before joining Best Tel are GSS Inc., Southwest Washington Medical Center and ADC Kentrox Industries Inc. Karen Holt has joined Batzer Inc. as its human resources director. Holt earned a bachelor of arts degree in business management from Northwest Christian College in Eugene and a master's degree in management at Southern Oregon University. Most recently, Holt spent four years as administrative director for Kids Health Connection through Asante Health System. She was with Community Works as the managing director of community resources for six years. Preferred Realty of Southern Oregon has added Daniel Perry to its lineup of real estate agents. Perry has more than 15 years in sales and purchasing experience and five in real estate. He was North American purchasing director for Tarragon Development in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Taylor Woodrow Homes in Sarasota, Fla., two of the largest luxury-home builders in the country.
