Talent seeks design proposals Calling all artists: The city of Talent is seeking design proposals for a "Welcome to Talent" sign to be placed at several locations at the city limits. The competition is open to residents and non-residents alike. The design should be submitted on an 81/2-by-11-inch sheet of resume stock paper and should be print-ready. Colors, hues and other details should be specifically stated on an attachment to the submission. The signs will be no larger than 3-by-5 feet. The design should be simplistic and visible to the traveling public and should be made up of four or fewer colors. The chosen design will become the property of the city. Artists may pick up design specifications at City Hall or visit cityoftalent.org. or call 535-1566. Designs should be submitted in a sealed envelope labeled "Design Competition" to City Hall, 220 Main St., Talent, by 10 a.m. May 31.
