Jackson appeared Wednesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with manufacturing marijuana. He was booked into the Jackson County Jail then released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Clifford Drew Ruhland, 23, of the 3100 block of Anderson Creek Road, Talent. A Central Point police officer Wednesday arrested Ruhland on charges of manufacturing marijuana, delivering marijuana, possession of marijuana and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was lodged in jail and released late Wednesday on his own recognizance. Drugs — Mike James Rardin, 23, of the 2800 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Wednesday arrested Rardin on charges of possession of amphetamines, providing false information about a vehicle and failure to appear in court. Crime reports Vehicle theft — 700 block of Kala Renee, Medford. A Medford police officer Wednesday took a report of a theft in which a 1978 Kawasaki motorcycle was stolen. Miscellaneous Car accident — A Ford Thunderbird crashed into a 7-Eleven store late Wednesday in the 3900 block of South Pacific Highway in north Phoenix. The vehicle’s brakes apparently failed as the driver approached the store, causing the front end of the car to crash through a glass window and door, Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Gordon Crisp said. No one was injured in the 9 p.m. accident. Crisp said the driver of the Thunderbird, whose name was not available, would be cited in connection with the wreck. Alcohol was not a factor, Crisp said.
