Southern Oregon legislators will discuss some of those issues and answer your questions during a Mail Tribune-sponsored panel discussion set for noon Thursday, March 10, in the paper's conference room at 111 N. Fir St. The public is invited to bring a brown-bag lunch. Coffee, tea, water and cookies will be provided. Panelists include Sens. Herman Baertschiger, R-Grants Pass, and Alan Bates, D-Medford, and Reps. Peter Buckley, D-Ashland and Duane Stark, R-Grants Pass. Mike McLane, R-Powell Butte, may attend depending on his schedule. (Rep. Sal Esquivel, R-Medford, had a conflict.) The discussion will be moderated by Mail Tribune opinion page editor Gary Nelson. Readers are invited to send questions to be asked of the legislators to city editor Cathy Noah at [email protected].
