Jackson County sheriff’s deputies arrested Hayes Monday on felony charges of driving while suspended or revoked and unlawfully possessing methamphetamine. He was booked in the Jackson County Jail Monday and released Tuesday on his own recognizance. Robbery — Kurt Christian Simon, 50, no known address. Medford police arrested Simon Monday on a charge of third-degree robbery and misdemeanor charges of second-degree trespassing and third-degree theft. He was booked in jail Monday and released Tuesday on his own recognizance. Criminal mischief — Matthew David Arena, 49, no known address. Ashland police arrested Arena Tuesday on a charge of first-degree criminal mischief. He was booked in jail Tuesday and no longer an inmate as of Wednesday. Theft — Loyal Lee Pendleton, 32, no known address. Ashland police arrested Pendleton Tuesday on a felony charge of theft of lost or mislaid property, a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing and on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a previous charge of second-degree trespassing. He was booked in jail and released Tuesday on his own recognizance.
