A Medford police officer Friday arrested Atwood on charges of possession of amphetamines, supplying contraband and driving with a suspended license. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Friday on $13,000 bail. Criminal mischief — Jason Wayne Halstead, 19, of the 700 block of Clay Street, Ashland. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Friday arrested Halstead on a charge of first-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Friday on $5,000 bail. Drugs — Kevin Robert Petsche, 23, of the 100 block of Access Road, Gold Hill. A sheriff’s deputy Friday arrested Petsche on charges of possession of amphetamines and failure to appear in court. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Friday on $11,000 bail. Assault — Gilma Faviola Catalan, 21, of the 700 block of Western Avenue, Medford. A Medford police officer Friday arrested Catalan on a charge of fourth-degree assault. She was lodged in jail and later released after posting bail. Theft — Wayne Patrick Todd, 32, of the 100 block of Alder Street, Central Point. A Medford police officer late Thursday arrested Todd on charges of first-degree theft, unlawful use of a vehicle, driving with a suspended license and a parole violation. He was lodged in jail without bail. Drugs — Heidi Goldsmith, 45, of the 400 block of Old Ferry Road, Shady Cove. A Shady Cove police officer late Thursday arrested Goldsmith on a charge of possession of amphetamines. She was lodged in jail and later released after posting bail. Advertisement Crime reports Theft — 1800 block of Bigham-Brown Road, Eagle Point. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Friday took a report of a theft in which $1,000 worth of items were stolen from a trailer. Theft — 500 block of Bessie Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Friday took a report of a theft in which a tool box containing tools, a gold ring, a pair of knives and a razor valued at $1,100 were stolen. Vehicle theft — 600 block of Black Oak Drive, Medford. A Medford police officer Friday took a report of a theft in which a maroon 1991 Chevy Blazer with a broken rear passenger-side window was stolen. Vehicle theft — 1800 block of North Keeneway Drive, Medford. A Medford police officer Friday took a report of a theft in which a maroon 1992 Honda Accord with tinted windows was stolen.
