RiverDogs split EUGENE � Steve DeClerck and Andy Bartels combined to go 6-for-10 with six RBIs to lead the Southern Oregon RiverDogs to a 12-10 win in the nightcap of an Amateur baseball doubleheader against the Eugene Nighthawks on Sunday. The RiverDogs lost the opener 9-3 in nine innings as the Nighthawks hit five doubles. Bartels belted a three-run home run, his second of the season, in the top of four inning. DeClerck extended his hitting streak to 14 games and made a diving catch in left field to secure the Game 2 victory. The RiverDogs (18-18) return home Friday for a doubleheader against the Redding Spirits.
