100th Birthday: Leona Piasecki By Alissa Corman Oct 16, 2022 12:00 AM A A Happy birthday 100th birthday to longtime Medford resident, Leona Piasecki. Leona Piasecki will celebrate her 100th birthday at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, with a celebratory Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 517 W. 10th St., Medford. Following Mass, the family will gather at Leona’s favorite breakfast spot, Roosters, for one of her favorite treats, cinnamon rolls. Later that day, the celebration will continue. Leona has lived in the same place in Medford for over 40 years. She retired from the aerospace industry out of Southern California, worked at Area 51 in Nevada and carried top-secret clearance. She has led a remarkable life thus far.
