Wohosky, 19, posted a four-round decision over Jerry Garcia of Caldwell, Idaho to win the 119-pound senior division. Wohosky qualified for the U.S. National Championships March 10-18 at the Olympic training center in Colorado Springs, Colo. Wohosky forced Garcia to take standing eight counts in both the third and fourth round en route to the impressive decision. "(Wohosky) was using a lot of good, strong combinations," said Bulldog trainer Jim Pedrojetti. "He has the speed and the strength. He has a chance of winning the whole thing next month." Mike Wilson, the No. 2-ranked senior super-heavyweight from Medford, will attempt to defend his title at the U.S. championships. Wilson had no opposition at the regional event.
