Sex abuser released in area Jackson County Community Corrections has issued a public notification that William Myer, a convicted sex abuser, has been released to the county. Myer, 54, was released to 14 years, 10 months of post-prison supervision for first-degree sodomy. His address in Medford is unknown. He targets minor males. He develops a friendship and then offers gifts, money and alcohol. Conditions of his supervision are that he undergo a mental health evaluation, polygraph testing and sex offender treatment. He cannot have contact with minors, have intoxicants or enter establishments where the primary item of sale is alcohol. He cannot form relationships with men or women with minor children without permission from his parole officer, and he may not contact his victim. He may take antabuse if it's medically approved at the direction of the parole officer. Myer is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds, and has blond hair and blue eyes.
