These spooky tours are available on a first-come, first-serve basis to those 12 years and older and will be offered once daily from Sunday, Oct. 26 through Friday, Oct. 31 at 4 p.m. Space is limited — there is a maximum of 12 people allowed on each tour each day. Costumes are welcome, however, masks, glitter, capes or trailing materials will not be allowed inside the cave. The Haunted Candlelight Tour is approximately one hour in length and costs $8.50. Oregon Caves is located about 20 miles from Cave Junction. The last eight miles of the highway are steep and winding and the drive takes about 45 minutes from Cave Junction. The temperature inside the cave is approximately 44 degrees year round, so visitors are encouraged to dress accordingly and wear good hiking shoes. Candle lanterns will be provided to visitors during the tour, but flashlights, cameras, tripods or backpacks will not be permitted.
