Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Email Story to a Friend June 21, 2005 Today is peace, prayer day Walk In Peace will present Ashland’s seventh annual World Peace and Prayer Day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. today at Jackson Wellsprings on Highway 99 in Ashland. The event will be a day of prayer, discussion, town hall meeting (from noon to 2 p.m.), workshops, music, arts, crafts, food and dancing. Speakers will include Jeff Golden, Ilana Rubenfeld, Dan Wahpepah, Rabbi David Zaslow, Ashland Police Chief Mike Bianca, Charles "Red Hawk" Thom, Steve Traisman and Steve Wolfson. The town hall will be Webcast live from noon to 2 p.m. on www.walkinpeace.org . Admission is free.
