Erickson, 88, of Rogue River, Ore. passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015, in West Covina, Calif. Grace was born April 17, 1926 on the family farm in Reynoldsville, Pa. She was the eldest daughter of Charles Blair and Zula Geneva (ne Strouse) Adams. Grace graduated from Reynoldsville High School in 1944, she then moved to California in 1945. Grace was Secretary to the Dean of Instruction at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College until her retirement in 1977. After retirement, Grace and her husband Ed lived in Hamburg, Calif. and spent time on the farm in Reynoldsville, Pa. In 2000, they moved to Rogue River, Ore. Grace's favorite pastimes included sewing, quilting, fishing, computers, RVing, and getting together with friends. She loved roses and spring flowers and planted them wherever she lived. Grace attended Foots Creek Chapel Church. She was a member of Daytimers, the Birthday Club, and a bunco club. Grace is survived by her daughters, Jerri Potras and Kim (Amone) Fa'anunu of West Covina, Calif.; stepchildren, John (Diana) Erickson of El Dorado, Calif., Kristin White of Wilsonville, Ore., and Glenn Erickson; many grandchildren, nieces, friends, and her beloved Llasa Apso, Maxie. Grace was predeceased by husband, Ed; sister, Ethel Mae Roberts; niece, Rebecca Aubuchon; and step-granddaughter, Erika Erickson. Visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. followed by graveside services at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Memory Gardens Memorial Park in Medford, Ore. A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. at Foots Creek Chapel in Gold Hill. Pastor Bob MacKenzie will officiate. Memorial donations may be to the American Heart Association.
