According to a Medford Police Department news release, detectives from the Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement team, along with Eagle Point police and Jackson County sheriff's deputies, served a search warrant at noon on a home in the 200 block of Dianne Way. The release said police found small amounts of both methamphetamine and heroin, along with scales, packaging and drug records. Police said the raid followed a two-month investigation that began after investigators received complaints about drug activity in the area.  David Paul Reed, 31, and Ariel Justine Vargas, 24, were both lodged in the Jackson County Jail on charges of the delivery, manufacture and possession of heroin within 1000 feet of a school. Reed is being held without bail on a parole violation while Vargas, who also had warrants for failure to appear on heroin-possession and theft charges, is being held on $63,000 bail. Robert Warren Facey, 30, was lodged on a charge of possession of meth and is being held on $5,000 bail. Kaila Julianna Goldbaum, 25, is being held on $20,000 bail on charges of possession of heroin, first-degree theft and a probation violation for a meth-possession conviction. Dillon Lee Ross, 27, is being held without bail for failure to appear on charges of possession of meth and failure to comply with a traffic citation.
