Scala Division's product groups include professional antennas, RF filters, and accessories for a wide range of applications, such as cellular and PCS/PCN telephone, TV and FM broadcasting, wireless local loop and Internet, radio paging systems, point-to-point data and control networks and land-mobile radio communications systems. Project Manager (current position) - Monitor and coordinate activities of contributing departments by reviewing status reports and modifying schedules as required in order to meet target dates; ensure timely completion of projects by conferring with personnel and management to confirm priorities, monitor progress, revise schedules, and resolve problems; prepare project status reports by collecting, organizing, and analyzing project data and tracking progress; resolve project conflicts by investigating and coordinating solutions with department managers; maintain inter- and intradepartmental workflow by fostering a spirit of cooperation. Major accomplishments during first year as Project Manager: Increased the number of new projects being introduced into the KSD production process by 174% (19 projects in 16 months versus 39 projects in 12 months). Assisted the various departments in completing 29 new projects. Reduced the average length of time it takes for a new project to go from the design authorization stage to the pre-production completed stage by more than half (13.1 months versus 5.0 months). Created and maintained the Project Tracking Report database and the Project Hot List. Promoted and nurtured a spirit of cooperation among employees in all KSD departments, including Antenna Engineering, Filter Engineering, Purchasing, Documentation, Manufacturing Engineering, Sales/Marketing, Customer Service, and Production.
