Spooky Season: The Schmidt House By John Stoeckl Oct 08, 2021 07:30 AM A A Deep in the heart of historic Grants Pass sits The Schmidt House. Built in 1901 by Claus and Hansion Schmidt, their daughters remained in the place until the 1980s. Today it’s more of a museum piece. At least 3 people have died in the house, and paranormal investigations picked up at least one voice saying “Leave me alone…”
