A Jackson County grand jury indicted Miguel Angel Reyna-Ramos, 37, on charges of manufacture and delivery of "super substantial" quantities of methamphetamine and heroin. He was also charged with possession of substantial quantities of methamphetamine and heroin. Super substantial quantities refer to 500 grams or more of methamphetamine or its key ingredients and 100 grams or more of heroin or a heroin mixture, according to the indictment against Reyna-Ramos. Reyna-Ramos, of Tulare, Calif., entered pleas of not guilty to all charges Wednesday in Jackson County Circuit Court. He has a pre-trial conference set for June 8. On May 18, Reyna-Ramos was pulled over by Oregon State Police on I-5 near milepost 35 for allegedly failing to stay within his lane of traffic. A trooper noticed signs of drug trafficking, including that Reyna-Ramos allegedly said he was driving to Washington to visit his sick sister but had no luggage, an affidavit said. The drugs were allegedly found in a plastic tub that was covered with a blanket inside the vehicle, the affidavit said.
