The big movies opening in theaters this week are “The Boy Next Door,” an R thriller starring Jennifer Lopez; “Mordecai,” an R comedy action flick starring Johnny Depp and Gwyneth Paltrow; “Cake,” an R drama starring Jennifer Aniston; and “Strange Magic,” an animated PG film. 2. The Super Bowl isn’t until Feb. 1, but you can get your football fix this weekend with the Pro Bowl. The annual all-star game is Sunday at 7 p.m. EST on ESPN. Find the recipes you need, buy the necessary decor, pick out some football movies for pre-game entertainment and more. 4. Friday is National Pie Day. Oh yeah!
