Human Bean food drive is Aug. 19 Comment MailTribune.com Writer Posted Aug. 8, 2016 at 1:05 PM Posted Aug. 8, 2016 at 1:05 PM » Social News The Human Bean is hosting its seventh annual food drive on Friday, Aug. 19. Customers who bring non-perishable food items will receive drink discounts and a chance to win a pair of Oregon Duck or Oregon State Beaver football tickets. All food donations will benefit the Jackson County area through ACCESS Inc. Customers who bring one food item will receive 50 cents off any drink; those who bring two items will receive $1 off; and those who bring three items will receive a $1 off and a chance to win football tickets. Human Bean will raffle off two pairs of tickets to upcoming home games this season at the University of Oregon and Oregon State. The Human Bean raised 4,000 pounds of food during last year’s drive. All nine local Human Bean locations in Central Point, Ashland, White City and Medford will accept food donations from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Aug. 19.
