Medford police arrested Ballard Friday on felony charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft, four felony counts of identity theft and for violating his parole on a previous first-degree burglary conviction. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail Friday without bail. Vehicle Theft — Marty Lynn Artoff, 40, of the 2900 block of Wards Creek Road, Rogue River. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Artoff Friday on a felony charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was booked in the jail and released on her own recognizance. Drugs — Amber Lynn Ziegler, 20, of the 500 block of Monroe Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Ziegler Friday on a felony charge of heroin possession, and on a warrant charging failure to appear in court on a first-degree theft charge. She was booked in the jail and released on her own recognizance. Drugs — Allen Michael Scott Florea, 20, of the 6800 block of Diamond Road, Central Point. Medford police arrested Florea Friday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession, and on a warrant charging failure to appear in court of a previous fourth-degree assault charge. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance. Sex Offender Registration — Thomas Carl Ruth, 48, no known address. Medford police arrested Ruth Saturday on a felony charge of failing to register his address as a sex offender, and on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree trespassing. He was booked in the jail and released because of overcrowding. Drugs — Alberto Salcedo-Jiminez, 32, of the 100 block of North Foothill Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Salcedo-Jiminez Saturday on a felony warrant charging methamphetamine possession. He was booked in the jail and released on his own recognizance. Drugs — Cary Rhyse Evan Jordahl, 24, of the 500 block of North Keene Way Drive, Medford. Jackson County sheriff's deputies arrested Jordahl Saturday on a felony charge of heroin possession, a misdemeanor charge of felon in possession of a restricted weapon and on a sanction for violating his probation on a previous identity theft conviction. He was lodged in jail Saturday without bail. Drugs — Ashley Lynn Smith, 30, no known address. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Smith Saturday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. She was lodged in jail Saturday on $10,000 bail. Drugs — Jason Keith Perkins, 31, of Antelope, Calif. Oregon State Police troopers arrested Perkins Saturday on a felony charge of methamphetamine possession. He was booked in the jail Saturday. Drugs — Scauti Rose Hillman, 34, of the 900 block of Grant Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Hillman Saturday on a felony charge of heroin possession, misdemeanor charges of carrying a concealed weapon and felon in possession of a restricted weapon, and for violating her parole on a previous first-degree burglary conviction. She was lodged in jail Saturday without bail. Crime report Vandalism — Medford police took a report of vandalism to a residence at 3:36 a.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Skeeters Lane. Three windows in a residence were reportedly broken with bricks. The damage was valued at $2,000.
