News briefs Businesswomen set dinner Women Entrepreneurs of Oregon, a nonprofit organization of networking and professional development for businesswomen, will host its annual holiday dinner and auction on Tuesday at the Rogue Valley Country Club. Auction items are members' products and services. A no-host cocktail and social hour will start at 5:30 p.m. The dinner and auction begin at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $15 per person. Reservations are required by Friday. Wells Fargo will open in store Wells Fargo will open a branch inside the new Safeway Food & Drug store at 3169 Crater Lake Highway. Both businesses open Dec. 18. The new branch will be the bank's fifth in-store branch in the Rogue Valley. Wells Fargo also has four traditional branches. The branch will be open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. It will be open on most holidays, except Christmas Day.
