Oregon State Police reported multiple crashes near milepost 108, close to Myrtle Creek. No injuries were reported. One crash involved a jack-knifed semi at milepost 129, about four miles north of Roseburg, that blocked both southbound lanes. An OSP patrol vehicle was struck multiple times, the agency said. Delays of up to two hours were expected for southbound travelers. Anyone traveling from the Rogue Valley to Roseburg or farther north to the mid-Willamette Valley was urged to use caution in the area. The National Weather Service has issued a freezing rain advisory until 10 a.m. Monday that included the cities of Cave Junction, Sutherlin, Myrtle Creek and Canyonville. "Light sleet and freezing rain could produce a glaze of ice on area roadways," the notice said. "Even a small amount will be hazardous to travelers and others on the roadways." A special weather statement said a brief period of snow, sleet or freezing rain was also forecast for western Siskiyou County valleys near Happy Camp. Motorists heading to those areas should check www.tripcheck.com or call 511 for updates.
