Five percent of the Spokane, Wash.-based financial institution qualify for the award. Rogue Community Health has named Rick Rankin chief administrative officer, overseeing marketing and development, compliance, grant management and contracts, member services, and community partnerships. Rankin earned a bachelor's degree in business and economics with a minor in marketing from Eastern Oregon University. He is certified in occupational health practice management. He has more than 20 years of experience in health care, primary care practice management and as a program director in occupational medicine, along with program and facilities management. Before joining RCH, he was a manager for Providence Health & Services in Medford. Previously, he was a director for Adventist Health in Portland and occupational medicine director for Asante Health System. Bank of the Cascades has hired Stephanie Huycke as a mortgage lending officer at its Crater Lake Highway branch. With more than 15 years of related experience, Huycke has expertise in loan origination, underwriting and operations management. Most recently, Huycke served as a mortgage loan consultant at Bank of America, with additional experience at EverBank, Union Bank, MetLife Homes, Fidelity National Title, S&D Mortgage, Own It Mortgage and Prime Capital Funding. John Hyatt has joined the staff of retinal specialists at Retina & Vitreous Center of Southern Oregon. He most recently practiced at Carolina Eyecare Physicians in South Carolina for four years. Before that, he was a U.S. Navy medical officer, providing emergency medical care for in-combat Marines. He is a two-time recipient of the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal. He earned his medical degree at Louisiana State University and completed his residency at the University of Tennessee. He completed his vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the Charles Retina Institute in Memphis, Tenn. His work has been published in "The Glaucoma Book: A Practical, Evidence-Based Approach to Patient Care" and in the "Special Forces Medical Handbook."
