Three in rollover crash charged with drug crimes Emmanuel Snowden Jr. is arrested after his vehicle rolled over while running from police on Hanley Road Sept. 8. Emmanuel Snowden Jr., Yoseline Thania Villaneda and Raymond Lee Henderson III each face charges issued Monday for delivering and possessing about 10 grams of cocaine, among other charges, following their involvement in a Sept. 8 wreck. The crash occurred while the three allegedly attempted to elude undercover police by driving at high speeds and into oncoming traffic outside of Central Point, before rolling over in a field in the 2900 block of Hanley Road. On the night of Sept. 7, police said, they witnessed Snowden, 37, and Villaneda, 21, engage in several hand-to-hand heroin deals in Medford, according to a document filed in Jackson County Circuit Court by MADGE. The next day at just before 1 p.m., detectives attempted to pull over Snowden, Villaneda and Henderson in a gold Acura MDX near the intersection of Highway 238 and North Ross Lane. They quickly called off the pursuit after Snowden drove the SUV at speeds greater than 70 mph on westbound Highway 238, forcing motorists to pull over to avoid getting hit. Snowden faces an additional misdemeanor charge of reckless driving and two misdemeanor counts of recklessly endangering another person, documents filed in Jackson County Circuit Court show. During the chase, Medford and Central Point police following from a distance reportedly saw Snowden and Villaneda throw out a plastic bag believed to have contained drugs, according to court documents. The bag, which had been torn at the top, was empty by the time police found it on the side of Hanley Road, though residue in the bag tested positive for heroin. Villaneda faces an additional felony count of supplying contraband on accusations that she attempted to smuggle cocaine into the Jackson County Jail. Snowden and Villaneda each entered not guilty pleas Tuesday during arraignments in Circuit Court. They both remained lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail Thursday. No court dates have been set for Henderson, but court records show he has a court appearance slated for Oct. 4 for a separate but similar case from July 21. In that case, the Oregon Department of Transportation closed rush-hour traffic on northbound Interstate 5 between the two Ashland exits so MADGE could recover more than 50 grams of heroin Henderson allegedly threw out of a 2006 BMW sedan. A Jackson County Sheriff's deputy's patrol vehicle was totaled during the pursuit. Henderson faces felony counts of delivering and possessing heroin, attempting to elude police in a vehicle and misdemeanor counts of reckless driving and reckless endangering.
