Oregon Road Conditions & Cams Email Story to a Friend February 18, 2004 Emergency services Felony arrests Drugs — Thomas William Rand Whiteaker, 19, of the 400 block of Ogara Street, Medford. Central Point police arrested Whiteaker late Monday on a warrant charging him with possession of a hallucinogenic drug and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was lodged in Jackson County Jail, then released on his own recognizance Tuesday. Sex offender — William Bryan Hicks, 26, of the first block of De Anjou Avenue, Eagle Point. Medford police arrested Hicks late Monday for failure to register his address as a sex offender. He was lodged in jail, then released on bail Tuesday. Drugs — Shawn Allan Huff, 42, of the 2800 block of Ingles Drive, White City. Medford police arrested Huff Tuesday on charges of possession of hallucinogenic drugs and first-degree trespass. He was lodged in jail, where he remained Tuesday night on $14,000 bail. Hit and run — Juan Antonio Saldana Castaneda, 32, of the 100 block of Fern Valley Road, Medford. Saldana appeared in Jackson County Circuit Court Tuesday on an indictment charging him with two counts of hit and run. He was booked into jail and released.
