Ashland police search for leads in bulldozer fire ASHLAND -- Ashland police are looking for tips and suspects in an arson fire of a bulldozer in early September. The owner of the equipment is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of conviction of the culprits. At 11:36 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, police responded to the report of a bulldozer on fire in a vacant field near A Street in the railroad district of Ashland. When police and fire arrived at the scene, they discovered the chair and surrounding hydraulics of the bulldozer on fire. The blaze caused extensive damage. Police determined it was caused by an arsonist -- but as of Thursday, they still had no suspects.
