Gleich, 74, of the 300 block of Luman Road, Phoenix. A Phoenix police officer Thursday arrested Gleich on a charge of first-degree sodomy. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail, where he remained late Thursday on $1 million bail. Failure to report — Brandon James Clark, 30, of the 3000 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday arrested Clark on a charge of failure to report as a sex offender. He was lodged in jail, where he remained late Thursday on $5,000 bail. Theft — David James Grinde, 37, of the 4100 block of Corey Road, Central Point. Grinde appeared Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with first- degree theft and second-degree theft. He was booked into jail then released on his own recognizance. Crime reports Burglary — 2600 block of Mill Creek Road, Prospect. A Jackson County sheriff’s deputy Thursday took a report of a burglary in which a business was broken into and $2,500 worth of lottery money stolen. Theft — 3600 block of Avion Drive, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday took a report of a theft in which a generator and camera valued at $1,000 were stolen from a business. Burglary — 1000 block of 10th Street, Medford. A Medford police officer Thursday took a report of a burglary in which $730 worth of tools were stolen from a business. Advertisement Miscellaneous Weapons arrest — A man living in a downtown motel was arrested after a bullet fired from his Ruger .45-caliber handgun went through the floor of his room and narrowly missed striking another motel guest, police said. Frank Martin Phillips, 55, was lodged in the Jackson County Jail early Wednesday on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and reckless endangerment, both misdemeanors. Medford police Lt. Mike Moran said Phillips, a second-floor resident of a motel in the 500 block of North Riverside Avenue, told officers he did not realize the gun was loaded. Police went to the motel after a single bullet blew through the floor of Phillips’ room and into a ground-floor room occupied by another man.
