Medford police stopped Linda Marie Shamblin, 44, and found 1.4 pounds of methamphetamine in her car. "This was the result of an investigation and not a random thing," Medford police Lt. Tim George said. Shamblin then gave investigators permission to search her home in the 500 block of Sixth Avenue in Gold Hill, where they found anther two ounces of methamphetamine locked in a safe, George said. Shamblin was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on charges of possession, delivery and manufacture of methamphetamine. She was released Tuesday after posting bail.
